Never Alone

 

...for God is with us.

                Isaiah 8. 10

(That's why.

God gives us the strength

    to face the familiar,

    the uncomfortable,

       and the unknown.

Therein lies the difference.

We are not alone after all.

How differently would we face

     what is before us

if we realized we can

    walk with Him through it?)

O LORD,

Your Presence helps us

    to see in the dark.

Your strength helps us

    to walk differently

even in the hard stuff,

and sow Your grace

     in unexpected places.

You are with us.

    We abide in You.
