Whatever your hand finds to do,
do it with your might...
Ecclesiastes 9. 10
(As my husband's grandmother
said over and over,
"Whatever is worth doing
is worth doing right."
Whatever is the key word here.
Because it is all significant
in God's Kingdom.
God brings the fruit to it,
a forest from a tiny seed.
Faithfulness is never
overlooked or wasted.
His glory covers it all.
Even this little thing
which is never little.)
O LORD,
We miss so much
because we try to label
what is significant.
Anything done for Your glory
bears fruit
beyond our lifetimes.
May our work today,
no matter what it is,
lead us to trust You more.
Use it to reveal Yourself
to everyone around us,
not just in what we do,
but how we do it.
Establish Your joy
in our hearts.
