Basic Needs

 

Behold, God is my helper;

the Lord is the

     upholder of my life.

           Psalm 54. 4

(What does it take for us

      to realize that?

Anxiety is just trying

    hold it all together,

    carry, or control

           life on our own.

God does not promise

            life will be easy,

  but "I am with you."

Let the hard stuff help us

      know He is the Almighty.

Let joy and favor

    draw our eyes to Him.)

O LORD,

We need you!

Help us to abide in You

   no matter what we face today.

You are with us.

   Cover us by Your Presence.

May we know we are

         not alone in this.

Grant to us Your strength.

Draw our attention to You.

May we know even more

      Who You are

and walk with You.

Even through this hard place.
