Make My Day

 

The Lord GOD has given me

the tongue of those

who are taught,

that I may know how to sustain

with a word

          him who is weary.

                    Isaiah 50. 4

(Each one of us

              always

has the opportunity,

power,

ability,

and the gift of encouragement.

We can never know

         how powerfully

         God uses our words.

Walk with Him.

He will point out

      who to encourage today.

And that would be

     everyone on our paths.)

O LORD,

Help us to love others

     by encouraging them.

Empower us to

     embed courage in others.

And to know that You multiply

   those words

in ways we may never see.

Show us what to say,

   reveal to us how

       to plant sequoias

even in the desert.
