Those had their appointed duty

in their service

to come into the

     house of the LORD...

           1 Chronicles 24. 19

(We are all appointed,

called,

expected to serve

in some way

   and some dimension

in the church.

Our cohesiveness

       as a church

is in serving the LORD

              together,

not just attending church,

but being the church.

A sense of community

is based on the

    reality of community,

every one vital

   in some capacity,

embracing one another,

living out the gospel).

O LORD,

Guide us in service to You.

We are not just surrounded

           by needs,

but opportunities to serve You

and love others.

Help us to be the church,

not just an organization

but an organic body

       of believers

who love You

and each other

and see all of life differently

because we walk with You.
