Why call me Naomi,

when the LORD

has testified against me

and the Almighty

has brought calamity

             upon me?

           Ruth 1. 21

(Just because life is hard

does not mean

that God is not in it

    and that He is good.

This is not the end of the story,

indeed, just

the most exciting part.

Naomi could not yet see

   what was coming

   right around the corner.

God is already redeeming.

"Do not fear.

I am with you.

Walk with Me."

He realigns and refines

             our hearts

to trust Him in this.)

O LORD,

Help us to see differently

   that You are with us

and You are making

            all things new.

Help us to rely on Your strength

      and not our own.

How we see You

      changes everything

      we do and think.

Thank You for

        being the Almighty.
