It may be

that the LORD

   will work for us,

for nothing can hinder

  the LORD

from saving by many

           or by few.

          1 Samuel 14. 6

(The key phrase here is

   nothing can hinder the LORD.

God is not dependent

       on favorable circumstances,

       on odds,

       on public opinion,

       or on our own myopic view.

Even in what

   we consider impossible,

even when it appears

   to not be working out,

even in what we see

            as certain defeat,

or even when nothing

   seems to be happening at all,

        God is working powerfully.

We have only to be faithful to Him.

We would stand amazed

  if we realized what He is

              actually doing

                     in real time,

         face to face in our lives.

First step to listen

            and to respond.)

O LORD,

May we turn to You

   and not to despair.

May we stake our lives

                    on You,

even in the shadows,

even in the mysteries,

even in our weakness,

to know that You are God,

You are good,

You are working for us

                 and in us.

And nothing can hinder Your hand

   from delivering or providing

                     Your way.

Help us to

         trust You in this,

even in the midst

    of prevailing circumstances.

You remind us over and over,

 "Do not fear.

          I am with You.

Walk with Me through this."
