Let us know,

let us press on

   to know the LORD;

His going out

   is sure as the dawn;

He will come to us

   as the showers,

as the spring rains

   that water the earth.

         Hosea 6. 3

(No matter what

we are going through,

what surrounds us,

the overwhelming before us,

whatever this hard thing is,

seek,

pursue,

press on to know the LORD,

to trust Him more,

follow, and be faithful.

God is already providing.

God will surprise us

  by His goodness

in many such dimensions.

Be aware of Him

        all along the way.

Listen, watch, pursue.)

O LORD,

Help us not to be distracted

or derailed by the shadows,

the cloudy skies,

the undecipherable road,

the overwhelming,

    nor the ordinary.

This hard thing

   is not the end of the story.

Just an opportunity

  to press on to know You more.

We can trust You,

              even in this.

We can be faithful

   even in what we do today.

You always -- in some eternal way--

     bring fruit from faithfulness.

Not one effort done in love

   is insignificant in Your kingdom.

Help us to marinate in Your Word

      and live it out today.

We need You

    more than we realize.
