Give thanks to

   the Lord of lords,

for His steadfast love

    does great wonders,

How differently we could

   approach this day

and respond to this difficulty,

if we engraved and

         verbalized that truth

in our minds, words, actions,

        in our hearts

        and eyesight.

He alone does great wonders

--in us, through us,

                 all around us--

most of which we are oblivious.

Every moment holy.

         Even now. Even in this.)

O LORD,

We are often paralyzed

by the difficulties before us,

          but You are with us.

And no matter the impossibility,

  You alone do great wonders.

Help us not to miss You

                         in this.

Every day Your strength,

every moment filled

          and fulfilled

by Your steadfast, immovable,

not-going-away,

all-encompassing love

    that endures forever.

           No matter what.

You are the LORD who loves us.

You are the Almighty God

   who breaks through

   with Your glory.

May we not even think

   that we are

   doing this ourselves.
