I will make them

   strong in the LORD,

and they shall

   walk in His name,

declares the LORD.

        Zechariah 10. 12

(Not in our own strength,

nor disabled by

       our own weakness

       or wounds

       or past,

but strengthened by Him

        supernaturally.

Abiding in His strength,

we walk differently,

see the situation differently,

approach God

          with new vision,

others with a new heart,

and even ourselves,

    as forgiven, beloved,

    seen, heard,

    and fully embraced.

We cannot help but live

    and choose

    and respond distinctively

        as followers of Christ.

How are we marked?)

O LORD,

Because You are present,

because You love us,

because You gave Yourself

            for us,

because You redeem our lives,

    everything changes course.

Our circumstances

    may or may not be altered,

but we are able now

          to respond

           in a million new ways,

because we are different now.

Our help is in You,

our hope is in You,

hope not in wishful thinking,

but the reality of You, O God,

   on Whom we can

                  stake our lives.

Help us to walk in Your Name

   and for Your glory

   in this day.
