Strength in the Impossible

 

But David strengthened himself

   in the LORD his God.

in the everydays

prepares and equips us

for the crises,

      both small and great.

When the trouble comes,

   we already know to run to Him.

Prayer, His Word

     and communing with God

become our first response.

And that totally impacts

       the experience and outcome

       of any situation.

We have practiced His Presence

      and know His strength.

O LORD,

Whether in the storm

   or a sky blue day,

may we strengthen ourselves

   in Your love and grace

   and Presence.

As You fill our hearts with courage,

may we be a witness

and a blessing to others.

Even in impossible situations,

  please help us

  to make You known

by how we respond.

Pour Your strength over us.
