Even When We Don't Realize It

(Faithfulness to Christ

    is never one and done.

God continues to bear witness

              through us,

even in ways we may not realize.

We are continually surrounded

    by those who are watching us

to see if God is real

and if He makes a difference

           in how we live.

There is no such thing

      as a little obedience.

Faithfulness plays the long game.

And God brings His fruit to it.)

O LORD,

Please help us to be aware

        of our surroundings

and of those around us

to be faithful to You

   and see Your glory in it.

Please bear witness

    through our changed hearts.

May Your love and grace in us

      point others right to You,

even in unexpected ways

and unlikely places.
