         1 Corinthians 14. 1

 

(How can I

approach this hard situation

    or difficult relationship differently?

The mark of a believer

is unexpected love and grace

      in impossible places

      among impossible people.

Who sees anything

            different in me?)

O LORD,

Reset my vision, 

order my thoughts,

and align my heart

              with Yours.

Help me to realize that

   no one expects mercy here.

May it get all over everything.

Help me to not just to be kind,

not even to be gracious,

    but to pursue love. 

For Your sake.

In Your holy Name.
