The Multiplying Effect

 

And the whole multitude

             of the people

were praying outside...

                 Luke 1. 10

(With so much prayer

                 lifted up,

something is bound to unfold

                and take hold.

        God brings it about.

When we are in

    a posture of prayer,

              we are aware.

God enlarges our hearts

   to see in the dark.

God hears our prayers.

God listens.  God responds.

Praying empowers us

          to respond to Him.)

O LORD,

Help us to come to You

    with our concerns and joys,

    our troubles and fears,

that we would know You more

and realize You are God,

       and we are not.

Remind us to surround

      this situation

               with prayer.

And help us to see

    Your steadfast love,

   no matter the circumstances.

When we trust in You,

and pray before You,

    Your strength pours over us.
