Lift up your eyes on high

            and see:

   who created these?

He who brings out

their host by number,

calling them all by name,

by the greatness of His might;

and because

He is strong in power

      not one is missing.

             Isaiah 40. 26

(Lest we forget

          in the darkness,

God gave us the stars,

    every night,

    right on time.

Not one is missing,

every star is named,

to remind us that

    He cares even more

        about us.

And that is just the stars.

Why else do we all

       stand in awe?

The splendor of nature

   is not an accident,

but a call to worship Him.)

O LORD,

May we not explain You away

in the wonders we see,

but go forth in worship

     and stand in awe

     of Your Creation,

knowing it didn't just happen,

but You intricately designed

what takes our breath away.

And You love us

           even more.

Help us to be bold today

   in pointing others to You.
