...to Him who alone
   does great wonders...
to Him who led His people
   through the wilderness,
for His steadfast love
        endures forever.

          Psalm 136. 4, 16

(We are surrounded
      by His wonders,
both visible and invisible,
those that are realized,
those that are ripened,
     and those not yet.
God brings us through
      the wilderness,
not a place to fear,
but to discover
and explore
and grasp His greatness.
God is with us.
We have only to
  faithfully follow,
not just to the end of it,
but absorbing
           the journey.
He never gives up
               on us.
We all possess
a chronicle of
       His faithfulness,
that which has been
           inscribed
and what is
   still being written down.
Not just the next,
       but the now.)

O LORD,
You guide us in ways
we do not expect.
You make a way
where we can see no way.
There are no dead ends
       on Your path,
just redirecting our hearts
            towards You,
providing and protecting
in ways we may
            never realize.
Help us to trust You
   not in our footing,
but in Yours,
willing to take another path
        as You direct,
but also willing to stay faithfully
          on the course,
right where we are.
       With You.
Help us to not miss You
            in the now,
Your wonders all around us.
