And the Word of God

   continued to increase,

and the number

   of the disciples

multiplied greatly

          in Jerusalem,

and a great many

  of the priests became

obedient to the faith.

            Acts 6. 7

(God does not just add.

     God multiplies.

God enlarges

and multiplies His Word,

even among the unexpected,

even in those we would

         never suspect,

even in those we do not

     realize are listening.

God's Word is never stagnant.

God plants great

         and mighty trees

that never cease

         to bear fruit.)

O LORD,

May we be true to Your Word

and not just bring it with us

or hide it in our hearts,

but plant the seeds

           every day,

all around us.

For Your glory.

For Your Kingdom.

For the furthest generations

      to know You more.
