Do not be in dread
     or afraid of them.
The LORD your God
who goes before you...

            Deuteronomy 1. 29

(Follow God into this day,
step by step,
hour by hour.
How differently we would see,
feel,
think,
and respond,
    if we trusted God.
Time to pull out
   our chronicle of God's faithfulness.
God is not about to
         abandon us now,
but lead us to a deeper dimension
    in our relationship with Him.
Start the day with gratefulness
      and praise to God.
Worship sets us
on a different path for our day,
different vision,
different heart,
grateful to Him,
even before we see the outcome.
Worship helps us see the now,
not be distracted by the next,
fully following Him in what is
              right in front of us,
   not paralyzed or distracted
                      by what's next.)

O LORD,
Help us not to fear
          or be dismayed,
but grateful
     and responsive to You.
Help us to hear Your voice
over the din of continuous despair,
to get Your song into our thoughts
              on a continuous loop,
words of hope,
the reality of Your Presence,
a new song of courage
        and steadfast love.
Help us to see differently
      because we know You.
Help us to respond differently
                in other ways,
   because You are God.
"For I have learned
   in whatever situation I am
to be content.
I know how to be brought low,
and I know how to abound.
In any and
          every circumstance,
I have learned the secret
     of facing plenty and hunger,
            abundance and need.
I can do all things through Him
       who strengthens me."
                  Philippians 4. 11-13
We will not just get through this.
We will come to know You more.
