to bear witness before them.

( We will stand before

teachers and store clerks,

CEO's and people in high places,

movers and shakers,

quiet neighbors and new friends

           for His sake.

God has strategically placed

each one of us

for His sake and the gospel's

in unexpected places

and among the

         most unlikely people,

even those who claim to know You,

and even those who proclaim

       that You don't exist.

Whether in suffering

or honor and favor,

there is far more going on,

   all about Your glory,

            not our own.)

O LORD,

We are so easily distracted

from Your great purposes

to bring Your love and grace

       and Your name

into our situations,

our neighborhoods,

even our casual conversations.

Help us to be aware

not just of opportunities

    but of Your Presence,

Give us a nudge today

to speak freely of You

and to live out the gospel

    even right where we are.

Those around us

are desperate to know

that You are real.
