The disciples went

and did as Jesus

     directed them.

      Matthew 21. 6

(Every action,

every word,

every attitude,

every response

        is ministry.

The disciples went

            and did

without having to know why.

Sometimes the reason

and the need and the outcome

              are obvious,

but God's purposes prevail

whether we understand or not.

There are no small obediences.)

O LORD,

Direct our paths this day

   and into this new week,

align our hearts

   with Your purposes.

Prepare our way

   that we would glorify You

in whatever we do.

Help us to be faithful to You

    into all Your ways,

    into all the whatevers,

    into Your precise timing,

    into Your divine appointments.

No task is too insignificant,

     no opportunity random,

to serve You

    and love others

    right into Your kingdom.
