My foot stands

    on level ground...

            Psalm 26. 12

(Watch your steps,

       but don't look down.

Look to Him.

When we walk with God,

   He provides a foothold,

a level spot amidst the rocks,

no matter how impossible

            the circumstances.

Trust Me in this.

And the next step

     will become evident.

And having done all,

                    to stand.

And maybe just a moment

    to take in the view.)

O LORD,

No matter if we are

     climbing upward,

     descending the rocks,

or faced with

  our own personal Red Sea,

          You provide a path.

Help us to be faithful to You,

even when we don't understand,

even when circumstances

             are too much for us.

Because there You are,

   all along with us.

Help me to take Your hand

         in this situation,

ready to follow,

           shoes tied on.

Lead the way, O LORD.
