Go through,

   go through the gates;

prepare the way

             for the people;

build up,

   build up the highway;

clear it of stones;

lift up a signal

          over the peoples.

            Isaiah 62. 10

(God places before us

                daily

incredible opportunities

to prepare the hearts

    of those all around us

to see Him

and come to know Him.

Love them.

Love them well,

   even the difficult ones.

Dig out the rocks

        with kindness.

Fill in the potholes

  with unexpected grace.

God uses even the

  most unusual relationships

to bring all of us to Him.)

O LORD,

Help us to go through the gates,

willing to love others

         into Your kingdom.

Help us to go the second mile

       with happy hearts

and find yet another gear

       to bring glory to You.

We can't do everything,

   but we can do something.

Guide us in this day

to lead a life worthy of You,

fully pleasing to You,

bearing fruit in every good work,

and knowing You even more.
