especially those of

      Caesar's household.

(Paul did not consider

being put in prison

as the end of his ministry,

but as the beginning of

          a new opportunity.

May we not just see

    the situation differently,

but see the people here.

Unexpected ministry.

Unexpected fruit.)

O LORD,

You have placed us

    strategically

day by day

to point others to You,

even among the rebellious

that You would be known.

You bring the fruitfulness.

We have only to

       faithfully proclaim

       in words and deeds.

Help us to see

   with both our eyes

   and our hearts.

And respond

       right where we are.
