...to walk in a manner

         worthy of the Lord,

fully pleasing to Him,

bearing fruit 

         in every good work,

and increasing 

         in the knowledge of God.

(This passage is my daily prayer

for each member of our family

that each day God's hand is upon them

and each day they are striving

                  to be more like Him.

I also pray these words

         to commit myself to this vision,

not to earn God's favor

but to express my love for Him.)

 

O LORD,

Manifest these words from Scripture

    to change the trajectory of our lives

in what we say and do and think.

     in and through us

that each day we may know You more

and make You known

by the tangible changes 

            You make in our hearts.
