...for God sent me

before you

to preserve life.

...and to keep alive for you

          many survivors.

So it was not you

  who sent me here,

but God.

           Genesis 45. 5, 7

(We are each one

a main character

in God's much bigger story.

Our relationship with God,

our pursuit of Him,

our following

      and obeying,

impact far more people

   than we can ever imagine.

God redeems His purposes,

  even when

         we don't understand.

Why are we here?

   To be faithful to Him.)

Redeem, O LORD!

Fulfill all Your purposes.

Help us to be faithful

   as Joseph in a foreign land,

even in those things

  so profound

  we would be astonished. 

You, O God,

           are in this,

    and we didn't see it.

Fear only distracts,

and worry blocks out the light.

You live, O LORD.

And that changes everything.
