In All We Are Faithfully Doing

 

And let us not grow weary

        of doing good,

for in due season

   we will reap,

   if we do not give up.

So then,

as we have opportunity,

let us do good to everyone,

and especially to those

who are of

      the household of faith.

           Galatians 6. 9-10

(Don't give up!

God is doing a good work

      through us.

The key words here are

     as we have opportunity.

We cannot do everything,

  but we can do something,

cultivating the patch of ground

           God has given us.

And in due season,

   a forest of sequoias appears.)

O LORD,

Please give us the wisdom

and strength,

the tools and stamina

   to stick with our tasks,

knowing that

  You multiply our efforts

  and bear much fruit.

It is not just work.

    It is all ministry

for Your kingdom,

in Your name,

and for Your glory.
