to serve God
and love someone to Him.
Not a trudge or a grudge,
but a divine appointment.)
O LORD,
Direct our feet to walk with
someone else
through their miry bog.
Align our hearts with Yours.
Re-align our vision
to serve You in this situation.
Help us to wear the right shoes
and a scarf of faithfulness
into what You have
placed before us,
even on the detours.
Empower us
not just to see in the dark,
but to hold someone's hand there.
