But his servant said,

    that they may eat,

for thus says the LORD,

"They shall eat and

       and have some left."

(God's fundamental

           law of leftovers--

God makes it

        more than enough.

God specializes in

  impossible situations

  and bleak landscapes

  and empty hearts

that we may know

           that He is God.)

O LORD,

Help us to trust You in this.

Give us the courage and wisdom

    to yield what we can

    and do what we are able,

       following You into it.

And know

          that You redeem,

even in ways we will never see.

You are the Almighty.

You surround us with

        Your Presence.
