About midnight,
Paul and Silas were praying
and singing hymns to God,
and the prisoners
were listening to them.
Acts 16. 25
(God strategically positions us
for His purposes
in the unusual, unexpected
and unlikely,
even in what may appear
an affliction or mistake.
Bring the name of Jesus
where we are.
Others are desperately
watching how we respnd
and listening to whatever we say
to see if God is real
and if God has indeed
made a difference in our hearts.
Worshiping God cannot help
but change us,
not just in appearance
but to our very core.)
O LORD,
We can never know
how You are using us
even what we see as ordinary,
or difficult,
or inconvenient,
or did I make a mistake?
Because Your intervention
is always supernatural.
There are no ordinary days,
nor insignificant encounters.
May our worship leave an imprint
on our hearts
and bear witness to others.
You redeem all.
