Come,

        bless the LORD,

all you servants of the LORD...

                  Psalm 134. 1

(Did it even occur to me

   to bless the LORD

   in this situation?

Or just ask for

      His blessing on me?

What does it look like

                      today,

how does it look differently

    to bless the LORD?

In word and deed

          and attitude?)

O LORD,

Forgive us

         for forgetting You.

We stand before You,

we walk with You,

we abide in You,

  because we love You.

Reveal to us today

   how we can serve You,

   bless You,

and bring Your name

       and glory

right into what is before us.

Help us to seek to bless You

     by trusting You in this,

     responding to others

             with love and grace,

and lay before You

      the glory due Your Name.

May we know You

       and be known as Yours.
