Thus it was written,

that the Christ should suffer

and on the third day

     rise from the dead,

and that repentance

    and forgiveness of sins

should be proclaimed

in His name to all nations,

beginning from Jerusalem.

You are witnesses

             of these things.

             Luke 24. 46-48

(This is the gospel.

Jesus came.

He suffered and died

     for each one of us.

He rose from the dead

  to make sure you know

you are loved,

you are forgiven,

you can live with Him forever.

Starting right now.

He is risen.

He is risen indeed.)

O LORD,

Thank You for loving us

with Your life

that You may give us life.

Help us to go forth

     with this good news

in word and deed

and changed lives.
