Yet the men were

    very good to us,

and we suffered no harm,

and we did not miss

                 anything

when we were in the fields,

as long as we went with them.

They were a wall to us

  both by night and by day,

all the while we were

with them keeping the sheep.

              1 Samuel 25. 15-16

how we do it,

how we live,

how we treat others

on the most ordinary days

   and in ordinary ways

prepares and protects us

and provides

  a strong witness to others

who we are

      and Whose we are.)

O LORD,

There are no ordinary days

     in Your sight.

There are no circumstances,

  just opportunities

  to love and serve You

in the ways we treat others.

Help us to be faithful to You

by doing all things

        with excellence,

        grace and love,

   in Your Name

   and for Your glory.

Align our hearts with Yours,

              O LORD.

Even in this.
