For this purpose

I was born

and for this purpose

I have come

     into the world --

to bear witness

     to the truth.

           John 18. 37

(God has strategically

positioned each of us

to bear witness,

point others to Him,

and bring the name

      of Jesus there.

As they say in Young Life,

"You were made for this."

God has equipped

and prepared us,

even in the most

 unusual experiences

and unlikely ways

and unexpected places,

to bring His glory there.

Even in this.

God redeems.

God always redeems.)

O LORD,

Help us to trust You,

not just with the next,

    but with the now.

Prepare us

not just for today,

but weave Your purposes

in everything we do

and say

and pray

and obey.

Help us respond

    to Your nudges

and love and serve

You even in the

          hard stuff.

We would be amazed

    at Your handiwork.

   even in this.
