Walk while you

      have the light,

lest darkness

      overtake you.

         John 12. 35

(Seizing every opportunity to

intentionally know Him more,

through scripture,

in fellowship,

by praying,

in worship,

in serving,

in loving Him

        and others.

Not what

       might have been,

or maybe later,

but in what is now.

Even in this.

We may not pass

       this way again.)

O LORD,

You say,

"Let's go for a walk."

Help us

to strap on our shoes

   and walk with You,

no matter the time

or place

or circumstances.

"Trust Me in this."

Help us to realize

that this is all about

   knowing You more

and trusting You in it.

It is not what we have done

or what we are doing,

but Your Presence with us

and Your hand over us.

Help us to walk with You,

right now in this moment,

before the night,

not just knowing

        You are with us,

but to know You are God.
