Jesus said

   to the servants,

"Fill the jars

         with water."

And they filled them

   up to the brim.

            John 2. 7

(Responding to God

                 fully,

   to the brim and

     and spilling over,

even when we

   don't know the outcome.

We have no idea

   how God will work

and how He

        is changing lives,

including our own hearts.)

O LORD,

We cannot know

how You are using us

and what You are up to.

Help us to

    fill the jars around us

    to overflowing.

You redeem all.

Nothing is common

      even as water

   in Your hands.

You redeem all.

And renew us

  through Your grace.

What do we need

     to do today?

Fill the jars

     for Your glory,

     Almighty God.
