God has made me
forget all my hardship.....
For God has made me
fruitful
in the land of my affliction.
Genesis 41. 51-52
Just because life may be hard
does not mean
God has abandoned us,
nor that we are not
right in the center of His will.
God bears tremendous fruit
in barren places.
He always has.
We have only to trust Him,
be faithful there,
and get back to work.
God's Presence
hovers over us.
In due time,
God reveals His purposes
in all this.
And the hardships fade
in light of His glory.
What will God bring out of this?
His redeeming,
every time.
O LORD,
Help us to see past our fears
and our tears
and this wave of hardships
to what You are doing
in us and everyone around us.
We can never know
the full extent of
what You are bringing about.
You do not
have a singular reason for it,
but You weave eternal purposes
in it.
Strengthen us!
Make us fruitful
in this land of our affliction.
Because this situation,
even this,
is holy ground.
