Most Of Which We Are Unaware

 

A sower went out to sow....

Other seeds fell on good soil  

      and produced grain,

some a hundredfold,

some sixty,

some thirty.

             Matthew 13. 3, 8

We have no idea  

how God uses us for His Kingdom,

in the lives of others,

and for His glory in this time and place.

We have only to be faithful,

sowing His gospel and His Word

in our work, our words,

   and even our attitude.

God raises up His fruit

  in the most unlikely places

  and souls

     far beyond our lifetimes.

Pray for soil #4.

O LORD,

We pray for good soil

   already prepared

   and ready to accept You,

even those we least suspect.

Work into these hearts

  the miracle-gro of Your Spirit.

Use us mightily in what appears

      as ordinary situations,

knowing that there is

     no randomness here.

Guide us as we

       go out to sow.

May Your steadfast love

  take root and bear amazing fruit,

most of which we are unaware.

Help us to follow You

   into our conversations today

and allow ourselves to sow

              and be led by You.
