Fear Of Missing Out

 

What is this that

God has done to us?

           Genesis 42. 28

It's curious that 

when hardship arrives,

people cast blame on God,

but in the midst of blessing,

  claim it either as luck

  or one's own doing.

The truth is that

we cannot fully know

God's purposes in a situation,

nor yet see His redeeming,

    nor His bigger picture in this.

God is good.

On that truth, 

   we can stake our lives

   and trust Him in it.

Our real anxiety should be

the fear of missing out

        on His wonders.

Even in this struggle.

Love you bunches.

Praying for you

                   to not miss out on His mighty works.

O LORD,

Instead of asking 

what in the world

     are You thinking,

may we contemplate

 what You are bringing

 to this difficult situation.

And let You be God

        and not us.

May we see Your glory

    in Your mighty works,

even those we do not

         yet understand.

Help us to not miss out

  on the other side

             of trusting You.
