Clouds By Day

 

They called to the LORD,

and He answered them.

In the pillar of cloud

   He spoke to them....

          Psalm 99. 6-7

(When we call upon our God,

when we lay before Him

    our concerns and joys,

    dilemmas and

    impossible situations,

            God responds.

Be watchful.

Sometimes He unfolds

    His answer in

    unexpected ways.

Sometimes we are

         not yet ready.

But He is always faithful.)

O LORD,

We are so grateful that

   we can come before You.

You see us.

You hear us.

You love us more than we know.

Help us to trust You

       in our hard places

   as You guide us through

   and as You walk with us.

Draw our attention to You

      even with clouds.

Be glorified,

               even in this.

Anoint this day.

    Appoint our steps.
