It shall be as a mark

on your hand

or frontlets

    between your eyes,

for by a strong hand

the LORD has brought us

         out of Egypt.

         Exodus 13. 16

(Our lives forgiven,

redeemed,

and transformed

should look very different

          in this world

in how we respond,

in how we love others,

by the mercy

      we have experienced,

because the LORD

      has released us

      from our sin.

How do I approach

this impossible situation,

this difficult relationship,

even this "ordinary" day

        differently

because I am a believer?)

O LORD,

May Your grace

   be obvious to us.

May Your grace

   be visibly evident

   in our lives

to point others to You.

May we live

    in such a way

that would not make sense

          if not for You.

Grant to us

    Your deeper vision

in all that surrounds us

                      today

to see not circumstances

  but opportunity

  to love others to You.
