At that time

people began to call upon

   the name of the LORD.

And the things we worship

            change us,

our daily liturgies,

our habits,

even in ways we are not aware.

When we seek God,

listen,

respond,

and worship God Almighty,

nothing can remain the same,

           including us.

O LORD,

You are God Almighty.

Help us as we come before You

        in every quiet moment,

no matter what

          is swirling around us,

knowing Your strength,

Your love,

Your grace.

Help us to worship You

in the difficulties,

in everyday encounters,

in the victories

       and even in the miry bog,

to bring You glory

           even in this.

Please help us

to prepare Your way

     in the lives of those around us,

that they may see You.
