"Behold,

I am with you

and will keep you

wherever you go..."

Then Jacob awoke

from his sleep and said,

"Surely the LORD

       is in this place,

and I did not know it!"

           Genesis 28. 15-16

(God is with us

      right where we are.

Do we only grasp that

      through the rearview mirror?

God is with us,

right here,

right now.

His Presence changes everything

    about what we see

    and how we respond.

How does knowing the LORD

is with us and will keep us

change how we perceive

    and approach this situation,

how we come before Him,

      and what we do?)

O LORD,

You are in this place.

Help us to realize

           Your Presence.

Help us to not just

     look for You,

but to know You more.

Guide us

        into this day,

        into this new week,

and see this place differently

because You are here.
