Never Forget This

 

Be strong and courageous.

Do not fear

   or be in dread of them,

for it is the LORD your God

       who goes with you.

He will not leave you

                 or forsake you.

             Deuterornomy 31. 6

(How many times

does God have to remind us

     that He is with us?

We can approach difficulties

   and navigate the storms

with a different narrative,

    a fresh heart,

    and His strength.

God does not promise that

   life will be easy

   or that there is nothing

                to be afraid of,

but He does promise

    He is right here with us,

in the midst of the trouble

and the middle of our mess.

Trust Me in this.

And that changes everything.)

O LORD,

It is neither our strength

          or might or courage,

    but Yours.

Please help us to see

      with Your creative eyes

and to handle what is before us

       with Your strength,

                 not ours.

Bring these words of Yours

     to mind over and over again.

Engrave Your Word

             over all that we do

and write Your name all over us..
