And I said,

   "What shall I do, Lord?"

And the Lord said to me,

"Rise,

   and go into Damascus,

and there

      you will be told all

that is appointed for you

                       to do."

              Act 22. 10

(Willing for the Lord to lead,

    step by step.

And follow Him into His day

        for each of us.

His appointments

   are not always within our sight

        nor even on our radar.

God enlarges our hearts.

Each step of faithfulness

   strengthens us

                    for the next.)

O Lord,

What shall we do?

Reveal to us

   how to be faithful to You

in this day

wherever You lead us,

however we can bring You glory.

May we respond

   when You say, "Rise and go/"

May we be resilient

   when You say,

          "Stay and be faithful here."

Even in this.
