to the LORD,

   to the One who works wonders...

                Judges 13. 19

(The Hebrew word means

    works and is working.

Past, present and future,

        the now and the next.

It is not so much that we

    lay stuff before the LORD,

but He lays His designs before us,

    His anointing and appointing.

Wonders are all those things

   we will never fully understand,

   and never see how they

                fully unfold,

but we can trust Him in it.

When we worship God,

  He redeems far beyond

                our lifetimes.

What or Whom we worship

  changes the course of our lives.)

O LORD,

We come before You

   as You unfold this day for us.

Help us to trust You in it

    and follow You

           into Your purposes.

Clothe us in Your steadfast love

   that we may have grace

   in whatever we encounter today.

We are amazed by Your goodness.

    And we have seen nothing yet.

You have worked deeply in our lives.

You are working still.
