          in this situation.

God's anointing

             and appointing.

God strategically positions us

       in time and place

for His greater purposes

in His grand narrative.

Ruth and Naomi

             didn't have a clue.

Neither do we.)

O LORD,

Help us to follow You

            into this day,

knowing that You lead us

      in unexpected ways

      and in unlikely places,

even in the ordinary and familiar.

May we be sensitive

                 to Your purposes

and embrace Your Presence here.
