But he who is noble

       plans noble things,

and on noble things

             he stands.

          Isaiah 32. 8

(What is good and right

     does not just happen,

             but is intentional.

May our hearts

   be aligned with God's.

May we be known

   by our integrity,

        our grace,

        and our love

   --even for unlikely people

    and in unexpected places.

May we be known

                   as His people.)

O LORD,

Help us to not just

      stumble along,

but to look ahead

              and all around

and plan to do what is good

         and right in Your sight.

Empower us to be noble,

   even in the difficult

   and among the difficult.

Grant to us the wisdom

  not to react,

       but how to respond differently

       because we love You.
