Yet not what I will,
    but what You will.

             Mark 14. 36

(Have I considered
         God's way in this?
Not my will
             but Yours.
That is how to pray.
How completely different
    our lives would be,
how radically different
           the outcome.)

O LORD,
May our hearts
               be willing
to seek Your way
  in whatever we face today.
Your divine purposes
   run deeper than we can
   possibly know.
Not our will
             but Yours.
Grant us the wisdom
        the strength
and the courage
to follow You into this week.
Not in our name
           but Yours.
Not our glory
           but Yours.
