Trust in Him at all times,

            O people;

pour out your heart

       before Him;

God is a refuge for us.

               Psalm 62. 8

(It is always amazing to me

how God's Word speaks

   specifically,

   personally,

   right to the core,

centuries upon centuries,

through thousands

   and thousands of years,

a reflection of our very hearts.

Because above all,

     God is still the Almighty.

God cares for us.

God knows our hearts.

God knows

            we need Him,

now more than ever.

Trusting in Him at all times

     has no expiration date.

Trust in Him

          even through this day.

"I am with you.

              Do not be afraid."

The opposite of fear

   is not the absence of difficulty

but trusting God

    and knowing His Presence.

Seek Him.

Even in this.)

O LORD,

We are faced today

with peril and pestilence

and the big unknown,

not just what is to come,

      but what is now.

Please help us to trust You,

to seek You,

to pour out our hearts

              before You,

to not let fear

        sabotage our thoughts.

Show us specifically today

     how to follow You.

Even in this.

Guide our hearts

       onto Your paths.

And in even in the din

and cacophony

        of discordance

      and bearers of fear,

may we hear

   and recognize Your voice

     clearly and distinctly.

Help us to seek out

             You.
