All The Way To The Top

 

Jesus said to the servants,

"Fill the jars with water."

And they filled them up

         to the brim.

          John 2. 7

(We have no clue

    what God does

when we respond to Him,

when we fully follow,

even when it might not

    make sense at the time.

We have only to

       be faithful.

God completes it.

And He brings His glory

            to it,

often in ways we do not

       recognize.

Fill the jars He gives us.

    All the way to the top.)

O LORD,

We need not know

what You have

          up Your sleeve,

for us to respond fully.

Help us to not just

   be aware of need,

but serve You

   with a generous heart.

May You be honored

      in this day

in whatever You place

      before us.
